MAJJIGA PULUSU/ANDHRA KADHI

  • 4 CUPS MAJJIGA /BUTTER MILK
  • 2 ONIONS (CUT INTO CUBES)
  • 2 BENDAKAYA/LADY FINGER (CHOPPED INTO INCH LENGTH)
  • 2 TOMATO (WELL CHOPED INTO CUBES)
  • 4 GREEN CHILI (WELL SLICED)
  • 1 GRAM FLOUR

TEMPERING

  • 2 TBSP GHEE
  • 1/4 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS
  • 1/4 TSP CUMIN SEEDS
  • 1/4 TSP URAD DAL
  • 6 CURRY LEAVES
  • 1/4 TSP CHANA DAL
  • 3 RED CHILIES
  • 3 GARLIC CLOVES
  • 1/2 INCH GINGER (WELL CHOPPED)
  • 1/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  1. Take a Bowl and add Majjiga/butter Milk and add salt and turmeric powder, Gram flour and mix it well and keep it aside.

     

    Now take a pan and add ghee and warmth it on a coffee flame and add Mustard,cumin seeds,chana dal, urad dal,red chili dry ,garlic cloves ,curry leaves and chopped ginger and mix/saute it for few seconds until the seeds splutter.

     

    Now add onion cubes,chopped tomatoes, chopped bendakaya/ladyfinger and sliced green chilies and saute it well cover it with lid and cook it for few minutes and cut the flame. And add majjiga/butter milk and mix it well and transfer the recipe into new bowl.

    Now Andhra kadhi / majjiga pulusu is prepared you'll serve with hot rice.
