MUNAGAKAYA/DRUMSTICK CURRY WITH MILK

  • 2 MUNAGAKAYA/DRUMSTICK (Cut into 2nch pieces)
  • 2 ONION (WELL CHOPPED)
  • 4 GREEN CHILIES (WELL CHOPPED)
  • 5 tbsp MILK
  • SALT (PER TASTE)
  • 1 Tea Spoon TURMERIC POWDER
  • 2 tbsp RED CHILLY POWDER
  • CORIANDER LEAVES (WELL CHOPPED)

FOR TEMPERING

  • 2 tbsp OIL
  • 1 Tea Spoon MUSTARD SEEDS
  • 1 Tea Spoon JEERA/CUMIN SEEDS
  • 6 CURRY LEAVES
  • 1 Tea Spoon URAD DAL
  1. Now wash drumsticks well and cut into 3 inch pieces and keep aside

    Chop Onions,Green chilies well and keep it aside

    Now take a pan and add oil and warmth it on a coffee flame and add mustard,cumin seeds and Urad dal and await a second until the seeds began to splutter and now add curry leaves and saute it for few seconds

    Now add well chopped onions ,green chilies , salt and turmeric powder and saute it until onions become light brownish.

    Add Munagakaya/drumstick pieces and cook it until drumstick pieces soften and now add red chilly powder and blend it well and add milk and a few water and blend it well and canopy the pan and cook it for couple of minutes during a low flame and wait till the gravy thickens and turn off the flame

    Finally transfer the recipe into other bowl and garnish with well chopped coriander leaves and serve with hot rice (steamed)
