LADY FINGER/BENDAKAYA FRY/OKRA FRY
- 1 KG LADY FINGER/BENDAKAYA/OKRA
- 3 tbsp OIL
- SALT (PER TASTE)
- 2 ONION (WELL CHOPPED)
- 10 CURRY LEAVES
- 3 GREEN CHILLIES (WELL SLICED)
- 1/2 tbsp CUMIN/ZEERA SEEDS
- 1/2 tbsp MUSTARD SEEDS
- 4 RED CHILLI
- 3 tbsp RED CHILLY POWDER
- 1/2 tbsp TURMERIC POWDER
Wash Ladyfingers/Bendakaya/Okra during a fresh running waterand clean it and make dry and chop into round pieces and keep it aside.
Now take Onions and chop it well and slice green chillies and keep it aside.
Now take a pan and add oil and warmth it for a short time on a coffee flame.
Now add red chillies ,cumin/jeera seeds,Mustard seeds and curry leaves and let them splutter.
Now add roundly chopped Lady fingers /Bendakaya/Okra pieces ,sliced green chillies and stir it on a medium flame for jiffy .
Now add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,salt and blend it for jiffy until the Okra/bendakaya changes its colour and keep cooking and mixing for jiffy on low flame until Okra/bendakaya gets soft.
Finaly the recipe is prepared to serve in hot rice.
